Butterscotch Bars
350 degrees
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 egg
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Blend the sugar and vegetable
oil in a medium bowl. Stir in
the egg and vanilla. Blend all
of the dry ingredients. Fold in
the pecans.
Spray an 8x8 pan with pan spray
until it is well coated. Spread
the batter evenly in the pan and
bake for 25 minutes at 350
degrees Fahrenheit. Do not
overbake. Cut into bars while
still warm. |
